Review of That Little Hardback by Chuck Borough, review by Kat C.

Genre: nonfiction, inspirational
Reviewer's location: Columbus, Georgia
Reviewer's rating: 3 of 5 stars

That Little Hardback by "that old physicist" Chuck Borough is a delightful traipse through a lifetime of observation and commentary on everything from growing up and growing old to religion and God, or lack thereof. It is a collection of almost 900 brief thoughts, with a handful of short essays to close the book. The author is clear and up front about his biases, but the reader is not left feeling "preached to." This book, in its inviting leather binding that makes the reader feel like it could be his or her very own journal of musings, is best taken in small doses rather than being read straight through. A page or two per sitting will give the reader enough food for thought to contemplate for some time.
